From time to time a laptop's inverter or LCD Backlight will go bad resulting in a very dim screen or a screen that has a reddish hue. JRD Tech can fix this without having to replace the entire LCD panel which can cost more than $400 with labor. Usually it is one or the other a bad inverter or bad backlight, however, sometime both can go bad.
- We will attempt to determine whether or not your inverter is bad
- If the inverter is bad we will replace, if the inverter is good we will replace the backlight
- Should we replace one component say the inverter and it still isn't lighting up we will go ahead with the backligh replacement

Inverter* Only: $99.00
Backlight: $150.00 (for one backlight, if your screen has multiple backlights add $10 for each...most screens do only have 1)
Both Inverter* and Backlight: $199.99 (for one backlight, if your screen has multiple backlights add $10 for each...most screens do only have 1)
* Rarely an inverter needs to be special ordered which will increase the price, if this is the case we will inform you of any additional costs first.
